What is IBPS Clerk recruitment?
Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) conducts a Common Recruitment Process (CRP) every year to select candidates for the clerical cadre posts in 17 public sector banks. IBPS is conducting IBPS Clerk exam 9th year in a row. Candidates who wish to join any of the participating organisations are required to register for the CRP.
IBPS Clerk notification was released on September 12. A total of 12,075 vacancies will be filled this year. Candidates for IBPS Clerk recruitment is selected based on their performance in online examination held in two phases – preliminary and mains.

IBPS Clerk Exam Pattern 2019
IBPS Clerk exam pattern for prelims is divided into three sections – English Language, Numerical Ability and Reasoning Ability. The question paper will have total 100 objective type questions.Total marks allotted to the prelims exam are 100. The mains exam consists of four sections- General/ Financial Awareness, General English, Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude and Quantitative Aptitude. Total duration of the test is 160 minutes. There were total 190 questions.The test carries 200 marks. For each wrong answer, 0.25 of the marks assigned to a question will be deducted as penalty to arrive at corrected score.

IBPS Clerk 2019 Exam Analysis
IBPS Clerk mains exam analysis 2019 will be provided to candidates within few hours after the completion of the test. Going through IBPS Clerk exam analysis, candidates can know the section-wise difficulty level, overall difficulty, weightage of topics, important questions asked in the exam and expected cut off.
IBPS Clerk Selection Process 2019
Filling of application form
IBPS Clerk application form 2019 was available from September 17 to October 9. Candidates could fill the application form online. The application fees which could be paid online is Rs 100 for SC/ST/PWD/EXSM candidates while for others it is Rs 600.
Release of Admit Card
The admit card of IBPS Clerk for mains exam has been issued to candidates. Last date to download the admit card is January 19. To download IBPS Clerk admit card 2019, candidates need to enter their login credentials.
IBPS Clerk Prelims Exam
The first stage of IBPS Clerk recruitment process is the prelims exam. The exam is conducted in multiple shifts for 60 minutes.
Declaration of Prelims Result
IBPS Clerk is declared online on the official website. The result displays the qualifying status of candidates for the next round of selection process. The scorecard is released within few days from the date of declaration of result.
Release of prelims cut off marks
IBPS Clerk cut off 2019 of preliminary exam will be released along with the scorecard. The cut off is applied on overall and individual scores. Only those candidates qualify the exam by securing the section-wise and overall cut off marks in the prelims exam are shortlisted for the mains exam.
Mains exam of IBPS Clerk
The mains exam is the second and final stage of IBPS Clerk exam. This stage is conducted for the shortlisted candidates of the preliminary exam. The test comprises four sections and is held for 160 minutes. The exam paper carries total 200 marks.
Announcement of final result
The final result is announced based on the candidates performance in the mains exam. Merit list for provisional allotment is prepared as per the merit of candidates.
Release of Mains/Final Cut off
The final cut off is prepared based on the mains exam. IBPS releases section-wise and state-wise cut off marks for provisional allotment of candidates.
IBPS Clerk Salary 2019
The basic IBPS Clerk salary is Rs 11,765. The pay scale is 11765-655/3-13730-815/3-16175-980/4-20095-1145/7-28110-2120/1-30230/1310-1-31540. In addition, candidates are entitled to other special pay and allowances.

IBPS Clerk Exam Day Guidelines 2019
- Candidates should carry IBPS Clerk admit card 2019 along with photo-identity proof to the exam centre
- Candidates should reach the exam centre an hour before the commencement of exam
- Candidates coming late are not be allowed to appear in the exam
- Any electronic gadgets are not permitted inside the exam centre
